Time of record based on the clock in the showroom.  No late entries permitted.  All entries submitted become the property of the Observation Run committee.
  1. Answers to all questions are clearly visible from the route provided, EXCEPT the tie-breaker question which is drawn from general knowledge of the east-central Nebraska area.  Deviations from the supplied route will guarantee that the participant will not observe correct answers.
  1. Correct answers will be posted at the venue in Bennington .  Entries will be scored by the judges.  Scores will be assigned as the number of correct answers.  In the event of equal scores, the tie-breaker question will be added to the score.  If ties are encountered, even after invoking the tie-breaker question, those entries will be placed in a container and winners drawn randomly.  Judges’ decisions on answers are final.
  1. Winners have 15 minutes to identify themselves and stake their claim after they have been announced.  If they do not stake their claim during this time, they will be eliminated from consideration and their position will pass to the next position winner.  Winners are only eligible to claim the highest position they are eligible for – For example: the 1st Place participant does not stake their claim within the 15 minute interval after announcement.  The 1st Place prize then would pass to the 2nd Place participant.  The 2nd Place participant may ONLY claim the 1st OR 2nd Place prize NOT BOTH.
